Internalize, experience, execute.

Those are the three words which summarise everything you've said.

You can't become through dreams and vibes. Those are just smokescreens.

One thing I've learnt recently is, people like to talk. We underestimate the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

And,

You'd never find that out if you don't roll up your sleeves, put your back into it and start working.

It's why I say many people, most even, will not make it in this generation.

It's easy to dream especially when fuelled by dopamine.

If you'd achieve your dreams,

Internalize by experiencing and executing.

Nothing brings it to becoming normal than doing the bloody work required to get there.

You and Mez put it best.

"Find out what you need to do to get where you are and do the damn thing".

That's how you become.

Your mindset was one thing that held you. Even though you kept wishing and admiring, you didn't realise that you need appropriate execution before your wishful wishes can come to fruition.

One thing I learnt is your success is largely dependent on your determination, preparation and execution.

You have to determine in your heart of hearts that you must be successful and attain that height you seek. This is a mindset revolution in a way.

Then you should be prepared for that height. If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. Lack of preparation causes misuse of opportunities and failures.

You must also execute. Execute like a crazy person. Read like crazyyy, study like crazy, build your skills and portfolio like crazyyy.

Thank you for this GM Mama Kuku. Really insightful 💞

3 things I learnt from this gm

1. Dont limit yourself to the opinion of the people around you if you ever want to improve

You'd probably have never had a change of mindset if that couple hadn't dealt you that harsh reality blow

2. You also have to have a change of environment once you notice you aren't improving. That would've been the hard part for me cuz what do you mean I have to give up breathtaking views and long beach walks before I cam pass my exams🤧🫠. The changing environment thing is also the same for studying amd being productive cuz when you get too comfortable in a particular environment, you will get nothing done😂

3. Another thing I learnt is to try to get a glimpse of the life you want for yourself

As long as you're determined, you can never get a glimpse of that life and still decide to be stuck on the level you're currently at.

Sidenote: I'm really impressed with your cgpa fr🥹🫂. How did you manage to cope with being vp if the cave and acing your exams at the same time😭

You really are a genius😂💞

If there are no results, people won't believe you.

You need a portfolio that says "I'm good at this" and it's not just talk.

In Mezie's words, talk doesn't cook rice.

Wow!!!

See Gems

You're blessed Sensei

I really liked this and I have made it a quote:

"No matter how hard you try to imitate it, you will never truly experience it" Kuku 2025

And I like that it goes for every aspect of life.

This answered a lot of questions I had.

I CANNOT get my dream life without giving it my ALL.

I am going to level up, so I need to orchestrate situations that expand my perspective and sharpen my vision.

There’s a lot to be done🥹🥹🥹

And putting the work into it and bringing those dreams to a normal level makes the difference.

The difference between what you say you are, and what people call you is the result you have,in person of what you do.

Thank you Kuks

Wow!! Like I've been learning recently, I'm not suppose to oversimplify everything and attach it to grace but to know the knowledge gaps in my life and get to work and seek knowledge.

What I see as Over a pedestal, cannot be lived in my everyday life. I have to live around greatness for it to become normal to my mind. Hang out with Greatness!!

Thank you so much, Kuku for sharing.

It happens in your mind first.

What you think is normal isn't.

So, you have to first internalize and normalize that place you want to be in your mind, then you achieve.

To help with this, you need a closer, clearer view. An experience.

Kuku, I see myself in your story.

I am a very smart girl, at least I consider myself one. I know what I want, I wish and admire them but they are never mine.

Now I have to sit my butt down and do the damn work required.

My goal is to leave survival mode but how do I internalise and experience wealth when I don't have it yet?

These are some lessons I learnt from this read:

-You can't run away from your underlying problem and expect to improve. The more you run, the longer the problem stays because you see it as normal. But once it is identified as a problem you do everything to solve it.

-You cannot become what you do not see yourself becoming, that's where execution comes in. It doesn't just stop as a dream, it should be envisioned and acted upon. Just like when you said you had to leave your previous environment to living in a school hostel, you knew what you wanted and staying at home (your comfort zone) wouldn't give you the result you desire. Putting yourself in such space gave you a new perspective, it helped you to strive, and gave you no other choice than to study hard and ace your SSCE.

-Another one that stuck with me was where you said “ if you want to level up, you need to orchestrate situations that's expands your perspective and sharpens your visions”

No one and absolutely no one can save us, we need to be in charge of our lives, take actions- orchestrate situations that makes our vision clearer and gives us no other choice other than making our dreams reality.

Thank you so much for this Mama Kuku

As always, your GM's are a banger 🥹📌

I learnt a lot!!

📌 A change of environment is always needed for growth.

Like how you changed your environment to a university environment and how that girl travelled first class. That's some real level of crazyyy.

I'm so happy you shared your story. 🤍

📌 Stop looking at your dream aspiringly.

Try to live it then achieve it.

Quick question for the family here;

How is a student writing JAMB and WAEC next year going to apply this if he already has the right environment.

You cannot become what you do not take as normal

This stood out for me. Asin if I keep seeing people at top as being huge or a big deal, I'll remain like that. Admiring and wishing to be there.

I like the part where u said changed ur environment to put the student mindset in you.

Sometimes when I want to learn seriously, I go school coz it gives this studying energy unlike being home for me and easily falling asleep.

Thank you for sharing your story with us💞
